WIDNES residents will be able to see Red Arrows in the skies this Friday.
The jets will fly over the town on their way from Rainford to Prescot.
They will pass over between 4.20pm and 4.21pm near to the Cronton, Hough Green, and Hale Bank areas.
It comes as part of their route from their base at RAF Waddington to Blackpool Airport.
They will depart at 4pm before making their way through Liverpool and arriving at the airport at 4.29pm.
Timings and routes may change due to weather or other requirements.
A short car drive away, Southport Air Show is taking place this weekend.
Gates and attractions at the event will open at 10am with the flying display starting at around midday and ending at around 5pm.
The show is expected to close at about 6pm on both days.
For those travelling to the event, car parks will open from 9am however beach parking and the Marine Drive will open at 10am.
Tickets are available for the Southport Air Show now with general admission tickets costing around £10 per person.
Under 16s can attend the event free of charge and picnics on the beach are encouraged for those wanting to keep the cost down.
