A POOP puppy’s misadventure caused it to get into trouble yesterday evening, Sunday.
The pooch had to be rescued by firefighters after getting its head stuck in a gate in Widnes.
One fire engine from Widnes Fire Station was dispatched to assist the dog on Birchfield Avenue at around 8.15pm.
On arrival, firefighters found that the puppy had got its head stuck in the metal bars of a gate.
Thankfully, the crew was able to rescue the young pup using spreaders.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The puppy is fit and well after its ordeal.”
