WORK is underway to ready a field in Daresbury to welcome thousands of revellers.
Construction has started to erect stages and facilities ahead of Creamfields music festival 2023.
The popular event, which attracts dance music fans from across the country, is due to take place between Thursday, August 24 and Sunday, August 27.
Around 70,000 people are set to descend on Daresbury for the popular and sold-out event.
This year, the ‘jaw-dropping’ line-up features the likes of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Becky Hill, Eric Prydz, and Martin Garrix.
Cheshire Police has been given a sneak peek behind the scenes ahead of the event.
An officer from the force’s Hatton, Stretton and Walton Police team said: “This maybe the closest to the main stage of Creamfields I will ever get.
“The event is only a few weeks away now and preparation has begun.
“You may start to see an increase of officers checking out the event grounds and surrounding areas prior to the main event at the end of the month.
“If you see anything suspicious, please let us know, either by messaging on social media, emailing or ringing 101.”
