SIXTH form students in Widnes have been rewarded for their outstanding achievement over the past 12 months.

Students at Cronton Sixth Form were welcomed back after leaving the college in 2022 to receive awards for their achievements throughout their time there.

For many of these students, their hard work has resulted in them landing places in some of the top universities across the UK.

The awards evening is an annual event held by the college to reunite former students and hear about their university experience and career paths, as well as celebrating their past work.

The event took place at the Cronton Playhouse, with awards being presented by the mayor of Halton, Cllr Mark Dennett.

Awards were given out to students across all different A-level subjects, with special awards going out for Student of the Year and the John Collins Trophy for Contribution to College Community.
