Fiddlers Ferry
I was disappointed to read that the Fiddlers Ferry site will be used for housing.
There was a proposal to build a completely new all singing and dancing hospital on the land to replace Warrington hospital.
That would have been a fantastic use of the land.
It would also have been an opportunity to build a home adjacent to house elderly patients who no longer need medical treatment.
Such a building would free up much needed beds in the medical wards.
