I JUST had a visit to Warrington town centre and they are thriving with activity and they have pay to park.
People seem to be ok with that but we have pay to park now and it's cheaper than most places yet we moan about it.
Where the old Warrington Market stood has turned into a place where people can sit and mingle.
The owners and developers have done something right.
Now take a look at Widnes town centre.
The people that own the mall and the town centre don't seem to be bothered in doing anything for the town.
It is literally like a ghost town now and I hate to say this but other towns seem to want to make something of themselves.
Now why can't we do the same? Even if they have to demolish to rebuild and make Widnes town centre great again.
I for one would like to see something change otherwise we can say bye bye to the town and hello to more houses.
