A DARESBURY music festival is the UK’s most ‘Instagrammable’ festival, according to new research.
Creamfields took the top spot with more than 482,000 hashtags on Instagram.
The original Daresbury-held festival has been renamed Creamfields North due to the festival celebrating its 25th anniversary and announcing the second weekend of festival Creamfields South in Hylands Park, Chelmsford - bringing more attraction from UK festival-goers.
Creamfields North is taking place in Daresbury this summer from August 25-28.
The research was carried out by fabric experts at Dalston Mill Fabrics who dove into Instagram stats and analysed the number of Instagram hashtags for the most popular UK festivals.
They used the Influencer Marketing Hub Hashtag Analytics Tool to see which ones have been snapped the most by the public.
In second place was Glastonbury with the hashtag #Glastonburyfestival being used on over 185,000 Instagram post
The five-day festival takes place in Pilton, Somerset and has been the home of some of the most iconic festival performances the UK has ever seen, including David Bowie in 2000, Beyonce in 2011, Jay Z in 2008 and Stormzy in 2019.
Boardmasters, held on Fistral Beach in Cornwall, is the third most Instagrammable.
It is also the only festival in the rankings to be held on a beach.
Wireless, the Isle of Wight Festival and BST Hyde Park were among the other most Instgrammable festivals in the UK.
