The Widnes road is currently closed
A KEY road in Widnes is currently closed due to a crash this evening, Wednesday.
Victoria Road is closed both ways and there is slow traffic between Moor Lane and Widnes Road.
On Twitter, a Widnes Police spokesperson said: “Road closures are currently in place following reports of collision on Victoria Road, Widnes near to the junction of Kingsway and Moor Lane.
“Drivers are advised to avoid the area – thanks for your patience.”
