THE Heath Drama Group is thrilled to return to action and are set to bring back performances for the community next week.
The group will perform pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk on February 23, 24, 25 and 26 at The Heath Methodist Church in Runcorn.
Helen Bratt, of The Heath Drama Group, said: “The group have been busy rehearsing since October, navigating the changing Covid rules and are loving being back together.
“We are delighted to see so many of our young members return, after such a long break.”
Despite missing out on their 50th anniversary, the group were determined to return to the stage this year with a traditional pantomime and they believe Jack and The Beanstalk is ‘guaranteed to have the audience full of beans and laughing out loud once again’.
Helen added: “It’s an amazing achievement to put the show on considering the challenges we’ve faced with illness, wearing masks, rehearsing in cooler temperatures to keep the cast and crew safe and we’re now busy planning to ensure our audiences feel safe so they have the best experience.”
Performances start at 7.15pm.
Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for children and can be found at www.ticketsource.co.uk/theheathdramagroup
