THE swimming pool at Kingsway Leisure Centre in Widnes is closing due to a national shortage of carbon dioxide.
The main pool will be shut tomorrow, Saturday, but the small pool will be open from 12 noon until 4pm.
A spokesman for the centre said: “We will be running a temporary timetable for the small pool on Saturday.
“Please be aware that participant numbers and spaces are limited. A banding system will be in place.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
“The sauna and steam room will be open.”
The swimming pool at Brookvale Recreation Centre in Runcorn will be open from 1pm to 4.30pm.
