UPDATE: A boy who was reported missing in Runcorn has been found, Cheshire Police has confirmed.
A spokesman for the force said he is 'safe and well' and thanked residents for their role in helping to find him.
POLICE say they are becoming ‘increasingly concerned’ for the welfare a 13-year-old boy who has been missing from home for nearly a week.
Blake Courtney was last seen at the British Legion on Castle Road in Runcorn at around 2.45pm on Monday, August 2.
He is described as being of average height and of medium to large build, and was wearing a black t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and black trainers at the time of this sighting.
Cheshire Police have now issued an appeal for information from members of the public on the youngster’s whereabouts.
Inspector Neil Anson said: “We’ve been making a number of enquiries to trace Blake but have not so far managed to trace him and we are becoming very concerned for his welfare.
"I’d urge anyone who had seen him or know of his whereabouts to get in touch with us.
“Blake, your family are also concerned for your welfare so please get in touch.”
