THREE students at Cronton Sixth Form were celebrating A-level success on Thursday.
The college praised students who thrived despite the challenges.
And there was particular praise for Natalia Wcislo, a former Saints Peter and Paul Catholic College student, who is off to the University of Cambridge to study Law; Sam Kaye, a former Saints Peter and Paul Catholic College student who will be attending the University of Oxford to study English Literature and History and Samuel Clayton, a former Wade Deacon High School student who will be studying physics at Durham University.
A spokesman said: "We are immensely proud of the Class of 2020 and would like to take the opportunity, in these unusual times, to congratulate them all on their A Level and Vocational results.
"Results day at Cronton Sixth Form is a wonderful time to celebrate the hard work and success of our students and we feel this year, more than any other, it is important to do this. Our students have worked extremely hard during their time at Cronton and we don’t want the current situation to overshadow their effort and success during their past two years with us.
Our students have shown their resilience and determination with many going on to secure places at some of the top universities in the country."
