During the spring and summer term staff and have been blown away by the children's commitment to their home learning and positive mindset during the school closure. They have been inundated with photographs, emails, drawings, tweets and messages with all of the children's work alongside a surprise video created by parents.
Assistant Head Teacher Edd Naylor said: "In the middle of this time of uncertainly we have been blown away by the commitment of our community and incredibly proud of the resilience demonstrated by all of our children.
"Parents and carers have worked tirelessly to ensure their children continue with learning and development beyond the school gate and for this we are incredibly grateful."
He added: "During our period of closure, school staff have worked collectively to create class challenges, reading competitions, PE tasks and creative projects to engage the children from afar. Children have taken part in national challenges, with particular reference to the Chester Zoo campaign."
