A LITTLE girl from Runcorn whose aunt died following an asthma attack has launched an Easter egg appeal in her memory.
Tilly Lawrenson, aged five, is collecting the chocolate treats for the respiratory unit at Liverpool's Alder Hey Hospital on behalf of the Kira Gwillym Foundation, which was set up in memory of her auntie who passed away in 2015.
Tilly has set her target at 50 eggs and currently has 26 donated which she is so happy about.
But she needs our readers' support to reach, and hopefully pass, the target.
Tilly's mum Jordan told Runcorn & Widnes World: "I am so proud of Tilly for wanting to do this.
"Tilly was only one year old when Kira passed away but Kira has always been a massive part in Tilly's life and is reminded on a daily basis about her auntie Kira.
"We see so many similarities with them both which is lovely.
"Tilly always wants to get involved in things for her auntie Kira and it's so nice that she is able to do this in her memory and also give something back too."
The Kira Gwillym Foundation has completed many fundraising and charity events in the past and looks forward to planning a lot more events in the future including their annual ball on March 28.
If you wish to donate eggs then please get in touch with the charity on Facebook or enquiries@kiragwillymfoundation.org
