A DANCE-A-THON in aid of Runcorn and Wirral-based children's charity Stick'n'Step will be held later this year.
The organisation - which supports children with cerebral palsy - is appealing for local people of all ages who love to dance to take part in a six-hour event to help raise funds as well as awareness of cerebral palsy.
Taking place at Wirral Tennis Centre in Birkenhead on Saturday March 14 from 10am-4pm it will feature some of the best dancers and choreographers around will be leading sessions from across the world of dance.
From salsa and zumba to funk and soul, not to mention musical theatre and even a touch of Disney, there will be something for everyone to enjoy, whatever their ability.
Anyone interested in taking part can sign up in advance for a two, four-or six-hour dance slot.
All funds raised from ticket sales will go straight to Stick'n'Step to help, inspire and support children and young people with cerebral palsy.
Dina Cottier, fundraiser for Stick'n'Step, said: "March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month and we wanted to do something special to mark the occasion.
"We are lucky to have so many talented dancers and dance schools located close in the area and we are so grateful to all the teachers, choreographers and dancers who are giving up their time so generously for our all-day Dance Party!
"No dance experience is necessary, just a desire to have fun.
"We look forward to creating a day to remember!"
