AN UNEXPLAINED green light has been spotted flying above houses in Runcorn.

Danielle Wilkerson, Beth Dyson and Jay Gardner were taking photographs in their garden in Palacefields when they spotted a mysterious light in the sky.

Danielle said: "My friend's partner noticed a green light on the camera which moved to the left of the camera and then it shot off and disappeared.

"My friend took the phone off her partner to see for herself and I reached for my phone too.

"The thing shot off towards the Brookvale area."

Can anyone in Runcorn help identify the flying light?
