Crews tackle van fire on M56 at junction 11 near the Daresbury roundabout in Runcorn
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a van fire on the M56 in Runcorn.
Crews were called to the hard shoulder of the motorway near junction 11 at the Daresbury roundabout.
A commercial van had overheated shortly before 7pm last night.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to cool the engine and were at the scene for around 20 minutes.
