Firefighters tackle motorbike and car fire
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a motorbike and car fire in Widnes last night.
Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish a motorbike fire on Green Lane shortly after 11.30pm.
An hour earlier they dealt with a Ford Focus fire on Alder Avenue.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets put out the flames.
