ARE the residents of Halton aware that people holding blue badges who do not live in the borough can register with Merseyflow and get a £5 permit and travel as many times as they like across our new bridge?
Yet people in the higher brackets of council tax are exempt from obtaining the £10 annual fee to cross freely.
These are probably people living in Halton who have worked all their lives to build up businesses within the borough and are penalised at both ends by their businesses, transport and homes.
It is an absolute disgrace by the instigators of the bridge tolls and everyone should be made aware of it.
