THE new Forth Road bridge in Scotland has opened just a couple of weeks before our Mersey Gateway bridge.
The Forth bridge looks similar to the Mersey Gateway but is longer, higher and costs more than twice as much to build.
Halton Council keeps saying that to have a new bridge you have to toll it.
The Fife and Edinburgh council does not charge to cross, so who is telling the truth?
