THE search is on to find the Halton school of the year.
Runcorn family coach firm Anthony’s Travel launched the award last year to celebrate the role schools play in their community.
Partner Richard Bamber, aged 43, who founded the business in Cormorant Drive, with his parents, said: “We strongly believe that businesses, organisations and schools can all work together to bring benefits to the local community.”
The prize includes a free one day coach trip within a 30-mile radius of the school, discounted rates of coach hire bookings for a year, a safety training session for students, raffle prizes for school events and a tour of the coach company’s HQ.
Special Olympian, Omar Haddad, aged 25, from Widnes, sponsored by Anthony’s Travel, will visit the school.

Entries must be received by noon on Friday, July 11, 2014.
