STAFF at a family-run window company are celebrating after achieiving national training achievements.
Employees at Fairview Windows Limited have been presented with NVQ awards, endorsed by City and Guilds.
They studied a range of subjects including customer service.
The company based in Ditton Road was founded by Widnes born David Jones in 1982.
Managing director Mr Jones said: “Our philosophy over the last 30 years has always been that customer service is at the heart of any successful enterprise. If our employees recognise and value this our company stands head and shoulders above any competitors.
“We are also one of the only window companies in the north west to be awarded the nationally recognised certificate, Investors in People.
“This achievement involves reaching and maintaining stringent recruitment, training and management standards.”
Mr Jones believes his team of 50 strong team are the key to the continued success of his business.
The company, which also has showrooms in Widnes and Warrington, has established close links with the community and regularly fundraises for local projects.
Through its Fairview Foundation, staff are able to double any money they collect through match funding with the Grassroots Endowment Challenge.
A team of employees plan to tackle a mountain door challenge on November 16, by carrying a full size door to the top of Mount Snowdon in aid of BBC Children in Need.
Mr Jones added: “I would like to thank each and every member of the Fairview team for their continued support and dedication over the years.
“Without the right team you cannot achieve anything.”
