The brand new ISC England kit that the national team will wear in Rugby League World Cup 2013 will be available to buy in shops from Monday (October 7).
The brand new design, first revealed by England captain Kevin Sinfield at the England squad announcement this week, will be available at a range of high street retailers as well as online directly from www.rugbyleagueonline.co.uk.
A short film, ‘Are You Ready’, has been produced to launch the new kit, featuring Sinfield and fellow England players Ryan Hall and Gareth Hock. The viral video has already had thousands of views and can be seen here www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNl0aqg0Wv0 The new ISC England RLWC2013 jersey is a mid-weight polyester pique with micro eyelets on the interior face to draw heat away and promote an overall cooling of the body. The ultra-soft handle helps make this the most comfortable fabric for watching England.
England captain Kevin Sinfield said: “There is no better feeling than playing for your country and to come out to a stadium full of red and white really does make the hairs stand out on the on the back of your neck.
“Hopefully this England kit will really grab hold of people and they will get behind it and I think everyone will look really smart.”
ISC CEO Brett Corrick said: “This is by far the most advanced technological development in the history of ISC.
“Traditionally, only thicker and heavier fabrics have been able to offer the strength and security required for the rigours of high contact sport but now ISC's Feather provides these assets in the form of a lightweight stretch material.”
