HEALTHY lifestyles are the key to a better future and families are being urged to improve the health of young people in Halton.
‘Our Healthy Halton’ at the Select Security Stadium last Thursday hosted a range of activities aimed at encouraging a better lifestyle and there were information stands and interactive workshops such as street dance and zumba.
The event, organised by Halton Family Voice and parents of young people at children’s centres, provided the chance for families to find out what activities and services are available in achieving healthy lifestyles.
Our Healthy Halton is aimed at engaging young people as well as parents and carers to find out their views about health and is supported by Halton Children’s Trust, Widnes Vikings andthe Health Improvement Team, as part of the Fit4Life programme.
