CARTWRIGHT Heather Dorothy Nee Leigh. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Warrington General Hospital on February 6th 2023 aged 86 years following a short illness Loving wife of the late Joseph (Joe) and a much-loved Mum to Linda, John, Josie and Libby, Mother-in-law to Colin, Colette, Mal and Tim, devoted Grandmother, Great Grandmother (GG), Sister and Aunt. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral at All Saints Church, Thelwall WA4 2SX on Wednesday March 8th 2023 at 11.45 followed by cremation at Walton Lea WA4 6TD. To John, Josie, Linda and Libby I'm so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mum . I shared many a funny phone call with her after mum ( Aunty Rita) died and she was always there with kind and good sound advice whenever we spoke. Our love of family history and her knowledge of all those family members who have since passed gave me great insight into what an amazing lineage the Leigh family has become over many years. Her wit, good humour and never failing kindness will be sadly missed. Love to you all. Gill, Phil and Luke

Very saddened to hear that Heather has passed away. Fond memories of her and Joe being very welcoming when we visited them.
