MANFREDI Bernard Bernard Manfredi, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his home in Woolston. He is survived by his son Paul, daughter Alessandra and was predeceased by his beloved wife Ann. Before retiring, Bernard devoted his life to his family's business John Lewis' Ice Cream on Church Street, which was established in 1888. The business manufactured and supplied ice cream across the region and in its early years operated a popular ice cream parlour serving local residents. A funeral mass will be offered by Father Peter Montgomery at the St John Henry Newman Church in Latchford on Wednesday, Feb 1, 2023 at 10:00, followed by a burial at Fox Covert Cemetery in Appleton at 11:30.
