MORGAN Agnes 24/5/1927-4/12/2022 Agnes, widow of Austin Morgan and landlady during the 1960s and 70s of The Crown & Sceptre, Warrington, The Poplars Hotel, Orford and The Blackburne Arms, Orford, has died following a period of declining health. Agnes was resident at The Old Vicarage Nursing Home in Burtonwood for the past five years. She died peacefully in her sleep in the early hours, with family at her side and was cared for wonderfully by the nurses and carers. Agnes leaves three children, Valerie, Wendy and John, 8 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by them all and remembered and celebrated for a life well lived over her 95 years. The funeral will be held on Thursday 22 December at 10.00am at Walton Lea Crematorium, followed by refreshments at Walton Hall. Funeral arrangements by Cheshire Funeral Service, Gorsey Lane. Family flowers only please, donations instead to Alzheimer's Research or the RNLI.
