ASHLEY. Gwen Sadly died on the 14th August 2022 aged 95 years at Warrington General Hospital. Her family were with her. Gwen, wife of the late Eric, will be deeply missed by her loving sons Peter and Colin, as well as her many friends. Her funeral will take place on the 8th September at St John's Church, Walton at 12.15pm. This will be followed by a private Committal at Walton Lea Crematorium, then refreshments and a buffet at the Stag Inn, Walton. As a life-long animal lover Gwen wished for donations to the RSPCA (Slutchers Lane) in lieu of flowers. She also requested mourners not to wear black.
