Dean is so right, Tommy always knew what was the right thing to do or say. He made a difference to so many lives beyond own his lovely family. A kind word, a message of support, a nudge in the right direction, even a good old fashioned tongue lashing when it was called for. A role model for so many of us, I will never ever forget his compassion and understanding when I needed it most. Rest in Peace Tommy in Pats arms again. All my love. Gus

Throughout my life I always had a connection with the Rourkes!
I was always welcomed into their family & made special.
I can relate to 2 memorable occasions in my life which relate to Tom & his unbelievable charisma over people.

Sitting in a Great Britain dressing room in France alone & afraid!
Everyone around true internationals & able to hold there own.
Prior to leaving the dressing room a telegram was read out to everyone wishing me all the best from Tom Rourke & everyone @ Crosfields!
What a honour, what a lift, what a man.

Time goes on & my 2nd most memorable occasion was lying in a hospital bed thinking my life had ended!
Loads of visitors in & out !
The best visitor I had was Tom encouraging me I would come back , good or bad I would be able to go on in life & make something of it .
