WOODHOUSE Marjorie Frances Passed away on December 22, 2021 in Whiston Hospital, aged 91. Wife of the late Arthur Woodhouse, Marjorie was born in Warrington and lived there all her life, the last 64 years being as a resident of Paddington. One of the "Burtonwood Girls", she worked for the Americans at the airbase after the war. She later ran a business selling baby clothes from a shop in Stockton Heath for a short period. Her main occupation was as a typist, with her final job before retirement being a Word Processing Supervisor for BNFL at Risley. Marjorie and Arthur enjoyed holidays both home and abroad, notably in York, Lytham St Annes and Florence, and additionally, with friends, in Llandudno and Dublin. Funeral arrangements were by Simplicity Cremations.
