MARGARET GASKELL (Nee Manley) Wife of the late Alf Gaskell, died suddenly at her home on 9th April, aged 90. Mrs Gaskell, who was born in Warrington, lived in the area until she and her late husband Alf retired to Grantown-On-Spey where they spent 20 happy years. When Alf passed away in 2005 she returned home to Warrington. A much-loved Mum to Wayne (late) and Neal and dearly loved Grandmother to Emma and Samantha, she also leaves 2 Daughters-in-law and 4 Great-Grandchildren. She started her career at Crosfields and had various other jobs including working at Thames Board and running her own fish and chip shop and a ladies and children's wear shop. Her hobbies included cycling, ballroom dancing, gardening and holidays abroad. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. The funeral service will take place on Thursday 22nd April, 3:40pm, at Walton Lea Crematorium. Family flowers only please with donations in Margaret's memory to St Rocco's.
