GEORGE ROBERT WOODS 1949 2020 George passed away peacefully on the 21st Dec 2020 in Warrington Hospital. A much loved husband of Jennie, proud father of Andrea, Louise, Paul and Lucy, dear brother of Joyce and adored grandad. George was an enthusiastic walker who loved the countryside and had a passion for classic cars. George lived in the Warrington area throughout his life and enjoyed working as a chartered civil engineer at Warrington New Town and later at Atkins. George will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff on Ward A1 and the hospital chaplain for their wonderful support at this sad time. The funeral procession will begin at 1:30pm on Friday 8th January from Farm Lane, Appleton before a private service at Swanlow Park, Winsford.
