THREE hundreed fans gathered at the Stobart Stadium Halton on Tuesday night as Widnes Vikings unveiled their 2010 home shirt.
Manufactured by Irish based O’Neill’s Sportswear, the shirt has been specially designed with advances moisture control allowing the body to breathe easily with the garment feeling dry and cool to contribute to improved player performance.
The shirt features the RFL’s ‘Try Assist’ logo, the new name for the RFL Benevolent Fund and a new sleeve sponsor for 2010 in Halton Housing Trust.
Fans were able to pre-order the new shirt at the event with the first chance to purchase the top, which the Vikings will wear against Warrington Wolves in the World of Beds Cup on Boxing Day, this Saturday, at the O’Neill’s outlet in Widnes town centre. The shirt is available in sizes 1-2 yrs to 5XL priced from £30 Also revealed were the 2010 squad numbers which include St Helens Chris Dean who is the first of the Vikings’ dual registered players for the season.
