POLICE say parents of youths acting in an anti-social manner were ‘devastated’ after finding out.
Plain clothed officers from Cheshire Police caught the children throwing bricks at a house on Wellingford Avenue in Halebank yesterday, Tuesday.
Officers say the youngsters also kicked the front door and antagonised the owner’s dog.
Those responsible have been dealt with by way of a community resolution
The force’s Ditton and Hale Police team said: “An address on Wellingford Avenue in Halebank was being targeted by youths.
“They were throwing stones and bricks at the address over a number of days and had been kicking the front door and seemingly antagonising the occupant’s dog.
“Plain clothed police officers caught the youths at the location last night and took them home to their parents, who were devastated.
“The youths will be dealt with by way of a community resolution.”
