POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop crash in Runcorn.
Officers were called to an incident at 6.45pm following reports of a collision on Castlefields Avenue South yesterday, Sunday.
The incident involved a vehicle and a teenage girl who suffered minor injuries.
The vehicle – believed to be a dark-coloured car - failed to stop at the scene.
Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and officers are urging anyone with any information to get in touch.
Inspector Anton Sullivan said: “We are currently working to trace the vehicle involved in this incident.
“As part of the investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and believes they may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam or video doorbell footage of what happened.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, or visit cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML-1780045.”
