FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car fire in Widnes and an out-of-control bonfire in Runcorn.
Fire crews were called to Greenway Road, Runcorn, at 8.15pm yesterday, Saturday, following reports a bonfire had become out of control.
Firefighters were then called to Leigh Avenue, Widnes, at 5.20pm today, Sunday, to deal with a car fire.
On arrival, crews quickly extinguished the blaze.
