Fire in derelict building in Widnes
FIRE crews were called at 5.45am this morning, Sunday, to a blaze in a derelict building in Widnes.
Fire engines from Widnes and Penketh were sent to the scene.
A Cheshire Fire spokesman said: "Crews attended a small blaze on the ground floor of a derelict building on Victoria Road in Widnes."
