Investigation launched following Widnes car fire
AN investigation has been launched to find the cause of a car fire close to a home in Widnes in the early hours today, Sunday.
At 3.40am, two fire engines attended Deepdale to put out the blaze.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “A car was on fire close to a Widnes house.
“Firefighters put out the fire and used a thermal imaging camera to check there was no damage to the property.
“An investigation into the cause of the fire is being carried out.”
