Body found in search for missing Widnes teenager
POLICE say they are no looking for a Widnes teenager who went missing from home after a body was discovered last night, Monday.
Officers discovered the body in a wooded area in Waterside Lane, Widnes, at 8.30pm.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the description and clothing matched that of missing teen Connor Green, although formal identification is yet to take place.
There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A police spokesman said his family have been made aware and a postmortem examination will take place in due course.
