Firefighters tackled fire at car wash at Tesco Extra on Lugdale Road
A CAR wash caught fire at The Tesco Extra Store on Lugsdale Road, Widnes shortly before 1am last night.
Fire crews made sure fuel at the nearby petrol station was isolated before tackling the blaze.
Firefighters from four fire stations dealt with the incident.
Crews were at the scene for two hours.
The blaze has completely destroyed the car wash.
