A MAN has been arrested in connection with an armed bank robbery in Runcorn.
Police have confirmed today that a 27-year-old man from Widnes has been arrested following an investigation.
Police officers were called to the Nationwide in High Street at 4.55pm on Monday, November 16, following reports of a robbery involving a firearm.
A search was made in the area and information led to an arrest.
Enquiries are continuing.
